2023 Grand Old Fourth of July – a day in pictures!
The Grand Old Fourth of July on Bainbridge Island was great hit with thousands of people descending on the streets of Downtown Winslow yesterday (July 4, 2023) to enjoy a whole array of festivities, from fun runs and a pancake breakfast to a lively street fair, a classic car show, Kids Zone, live music, a beer+wine+cider garden, and, of course, the mile-long hometown parade.
Vendors from all over the island and surrounding communities gathered along Bjune to celebrate the day.
It was a sight to behold as kids, parents, grandparents and friends gathered along Madison and Winslow to enjoy the parade.
“The Chamber is honored to be trusted to produce the Island’s biggest annual event – thank you Bainbridge for making this year’s Grand Old 4th such an amazing day on the Island,” says Stefan Goldby, President/CEO of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce. “From our sponsors, to our partners, members, volunteers, vendors, parade participants, and attendees it is a joy to see our entire community come together to enjoy a great day in the sun. We hope that everyone had a wonderful time and look forward to more of the same next year!”

This annual celebration is brought to our community by the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce (BICC) and hundreds of volunteers from the community. Many thanks to Jessica Perkins, Vice President of Community Engagement at the BICC, Stefan Goldby, President/CEO of the BICC, and Tj Faddis, Operations Manager of the BICC. Almost 100 volunteers came together to assist with set up, traffic, information booths, trash control, clean-up and breaking it all down at the end of the day. It was an amazing display of community involvement and fun!
