Its February…It’s chilly out…And we’ve got lots of hills to climb!

Join Cascade.org and Bainbridge Island for the annual Chilly Hilly 33-mile (2,191 feet of climbing) bike ride around scenic Bainbridge Island.

The event takes place on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 8:00 a.m., with two starting points. If you’re coming from Seattle, the start line is located at the Pyramid Alehouse (1201 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134) and includes a picturesque ferry ride across Puget Sound (official ferry times: 7:55, 8:55, 9:35 and 10:40 a.m.) or you can begin on Bainbridge Island at B.I. Cycle Shop (124 Bjune Dr. SE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110).

Chilly Hilly registration fees raise funds to assist in making Washington a great place for bike riders of all ages, some of the programs include Let’s Go, the Major Taylor Project and Cascade.org’s statewide advocacy. In addition, the registration fees assist Cascade.org in giving back to the communities and organizations that thrive here.

Refreshments will be available at the Battle Point Park mid-point stop and are provided by Nuun Energy Drink, Bainbridge Girl Scouts and BI Rope Skippers. In addition, a bag drop provided by volunteers from the Amazon Outdoors team, will be available for riders (the pick-up spot has changed, click here for details).

An exclusive pre-event shopping night is being offered by Rapha Seattle, a Cascade partner and premium cycling apparel retailer (register here).

Once you’ve reached the finish line (located on Brien Drive in front of the Senior Center – this is also the location of the bag drop pick-up), stay a bit and enjoy the post-ride festivities. Chili Feed Bainbridge Island community group will be hosting a chili feed for an additional cost (a 100% of the proceeds go to the local Bainbridge non-profit or the club) and Rapha will be providing a photo booth to celebrate the finish.
