Around the Island: Historical Recipes to Try Out this Fall and Winter, Chamber After Hours at Bower, BARN’s Annual Holiday Bazaar this Weekend

Join the Bainbridge History Museum on Thursday November 21st for a night of historical recipes and home cooked memories! In honor of upcoming holidays, food remains central not only to family and friends, but to local history too. “As we bid farewell to our lobby display (A Bite Out of History), we invite you to come and swap recipes and bring some of your own dishes to share,” says BHM Executive Director Amber Buell.

November Chamber After Hours co-hosted by Bower and Lotta’ Laundry

After Hours is the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce’s long-running happy hour networking series. These events are prime time for connecting with other Chamber members and fostering new business relationship.

This month’s event, to be held on Thursday November 21st, will be hosted by Bower in Rolling Bay at its new retail space located in the footprint of the old municipal court. Lotta’s Laundry is co-hosting the Chamber’s final monthly After Hours of 2024.  How it works: member businesses rotate hosting duties and set the stage for this casual mixer. Chamber members and a limited number of their guests attend for free. As each host’s capacity permits, outside guests may purchase tickets to these events. After Hours events are held monthly on Thursday nights from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Please note that these events are subject to sell out. Early registration is encouraged.
