Bainbridge Chorale and Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra Combine for Three Weekend Concerts; Poetry and Art at BAC

For the first time since 2017, the Bainbridge Chorale will join forces with the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra for a concert dubbed, Celebration and Ceremony. Under the direction of Symphony Orchestra Conductor Ryan Dakota Farris the event will revel in pageantry, color, and shared musical experience.

The program features the elegant lyricism of Fauré’s Pavane, the sacred intimacy of Messiaen’s O sacrum convivium, and the luminous orchestral colors of Debussy’s Nocturnes. The evening culminates in a performance of Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, a work of warmth and serenity that offers a profoundly moving expression of reflection, unity, and the transcendent power of music.

Paul Dukas: Fanfare pour précéder La Péri

Gabriel Fauré: Pavane, Op. 50

Olivier Messiaen: O sacrum convivium!
