Bainbridge Island Holiday Events Guide (Updated December 15th) – Here’s a Rundown of What’s Happening from December 15th through year end!

NOW through DECEMBER 31ST: MANOR HOUSE CONCERT SERIES at Pleasant Beach Village – multiple dates throughout November and December. Click here for details and tickets.

NOW through DECEMBER 23rd – HOLIDAY WREATH MAKING at Bainbridge Gardens – Creating a wreath is easy and fun. One of their staff members will get you started! There’s no charge to use their wreath machine, but you do need to purchase a wreath ring from them. You can bring your own greens or buy from them. Finish off your wreath with a ribbon, pine cones, or holiday décor. They sell boxes for if you’d like to ship it as a gift via UPS. Reservations required, call them at 206-842-5888. NOW through JANUARY: KiDiMu SOCK SKATING – Come slip and slide on KiDiMu’s faux skating rink. Take off your shoes and skate along the slippery surface in your socks. Click here for more details.

CHRISTMAS TREES at Bainbridge Island/Suyematsu FarmsLocated at their Manzanita Road Christmas Tree Farm. Pre-Cut and U-Cut Christmas trees are available for sale the day after Thanksgiving until sold out. Sizes range from 3- to 12-feet. All Christmas trees are charged by the foot. They also offer fresh wreaths, garland, holiday arrangements, holly, and more. For hours, please check their Facebook page here.

Dec 15 - 31 image 2NOW through JANUARY 2ND – COAT DRIVE brought to you by Finding Fresh Bainbridge. Bring your gently used coats, gloves, knit caps, and warm clothing to T&C Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo and deposit in the large red boxes (donated by Bainbridge Self-Storage). All donations will be hand delivered to Fishline after throughout the collection period.

NOW through DECEMBER 23RD: MANOR HOUSE 2023 GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY ~ Pleasant Beach Village. This holiday classic is back again in all its sugary-sweet, glittery glory. Build your own gingerbread dream house and sip on complimentary hot cider, or the bar will be open with festive hot and cold holiday beverages for purchase. Multiple dates/times and reservations are required. Tickets are limited, click here to get yours.

DECEMBER 17th – DISNEY’S “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST” presented by BAINBRIDGE PERFORMING ARTS –  Dive into the magic this December with BPA’s captivating production of Disney’s “Beauty and The Beast”. Journey to a whimsical French village and experience Belle’s daring adventure as she exchanges her freedom to save her father from the Beast, a prince under a spell. Buy tickets here.

NOW through DECEMBER 23RD – ELVES ON THE SHOP SHELVES – Join the search for Downtown Elves on Shelves! 32 participating stores will have Elf “bingo cards” available to elf sleuths, to locate the hidden elves in their stores. When you find the elf, head to that store’s checkout desk and you’ll get a stamp that you’ve found their elf. Find 10 or more, and bring your card down to Calico Toy Shoppe by December 23 2023, to enter a drawing on December 24th to win a special gift!

NOW through DECEMBER 24THBainbridge Island Fire Department’s HOLIDAY MUSIC TRUCK will be touring the island, bringing music and cheer! We will update with the tracking link/schedule as soon as its available.

Dec 15 - 31 image 3NOW through DECEMBER 31ST – WINTER WONDERS and SOLSTICE WALKS at BLOEDEL RESERVE – Winter Wonders is a fun, community oriented, outdoor Bloedel Reserve tradition designed to get you in the holiday spirit. Enjoy a wintry walk through the gardens and pause at the Residence to enjoy festive decorations, photo opportunities, and community-oriented activities. For times and tickets, click here.

DECEMBER 15th, 16th, and 17thTHE LESSER-KNOWN PLAYERS present Abigail’s Party, a play by Mike Leigh, directed by Gary Fetterplace. Abigail’s Party is a suburban situation comedy of manners. Abigail’s Party is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. Location: The Grange Hall, 10340 N. Madison Avenue. DECEMBER 15TH – RANGER AND THE “RE-ARRANGERS” Jazzy Holiday Concert – 7:00PM — 9:00PM at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art Auditorium – “Over the years, we’ve developed a small repertoire of jazzy holiday tunes–we really enjoy playing them, and there’s only a short season when we get to break them out! For this show we’ll play a mix of our regular repertoire and those ‘Re-Arranged’ holiday classics. We’ll have our full band at this one, with Dave Stewart on mandolin and vocals.” Seats fill up fast and reservations are recommended, contact them at info@RangerSwings to reserve your seats. There is no ticket price, but donations are gladly accepted. *This event is presented solely by Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” and may not reflect the mission and values of the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art or its staff*

DECEMBER 16THHoliday Hootenanny at The HISTORIC LYNWOOD THEATRE – 6PM – Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers with the Von Piglet Family Players will be bringing their Annual Holiday Hootenanny and Sing-A-Long for a family friendly show. Click here for tickets.

DECEMBER 16TH – SANTA VISITS Manor House at Pleasant Beach Village – 11am to 3pm – this is a free event and everyone is welcome!

Dec 15 - 31 image 4DECEMBER 22ND – Christmas at the Farm – HAPPY HOOVES SANCTUARY – Bring your kids ages 5-11 to Christmas at the farm for dinner, and a re-gift exchange (choose a toy your child no longer plays with, but is still in good condition. Wrap it up and send it! Each child will come home with something new!), crafts and time to pet the ponies! Register soon as spots are limited! DECEMBER 23RDCOMMUNITY CAROLING to benefit HELPLINE HOUSE!  Bring the whole family to the Community Caroling event at 4 pm on Saturday, December 23, at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church in downtown Winslow. We’ll sing favorite Christmas carols and holiday songs, accompanied by piano and led by Wendi Olinger. This event is co-hosted by the Bainbridge Chorale, Ovation MTB and Amabile Choir with all proceeds benefiting Helpline House. Admission is free, but please consider bringing a donation of non-perishable food, cash or a check made out to Helpline House.

DECEMBER 29TH – ROLLING BAY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 7pm – Hosted by the BAINBRIDGE CHORALE, the Messiah Sing-along is an Island tradition, begun in 2009 and now resumed after a four-year pause during the pandemic. An instrumental ensemble will accompany the audience as they sing choruses from Handel’s beloved oratorio. Arias will be sung by noted soloists: Tess Altiveros, Soprano, Elizabeth Feeney, Mezzo, John Marzano, Tenor, Charles Roberts Stephens, Baritone. This event is not ticketed, but they welcome a donation of $10 per adult (youth and children are free). Bring your own score if you have one, or borrow one at the door. Get ready to belt out the Hallelujah chorus and all your other favorites with your fellow Messiah enthusiasts! For more information contact info@bainbridgechorale.org

DECEMBER 31ST – Noon Year’s Eve at KiDiMu – Ring in 2024 with them from 10am to 12:30pm, they will be making party crafts and have a countdown to NOON. For more details, visit: Holidays at KiDiMu — KiDiMu
