Bainbridge Island Summer Studio Tour Unfolds This Weekend – Aug. 8, 9 and 10th – Across the Island, Plus 3rd Annual Kitsap Farm Tour
Three days, six studios and 51 artists, all local. That’s the makeup of the Bainbridge Island Studio Tour, going strong since 1984. “We’re so excited to be a part of this fabulous, juried art show, surrounded by other wonderful artists,” says Dinah Satterwhite, tour organizer, and herself an artist.
The tour will take place August 8, 9 and 10. 10 to 5 Fri/Sat and 10 to 6 Sun. “Our 2025 Summer Studio Tour artists are live,” Satterwhite says. “Our Tour Artists can be accessed here and in our main menu, as well as a Studio Map, along with customer photos of artists’ work. Digital downloads of the event’s Map, Brochure, and Artist List can be found at Home – Bainbridge Island Studio Tour (bistudiotour.com)
How it works? Regional artists jury into the summer and winter art shows and sell their work at Island artists’ studios and historic community halls. When you visit the studios, you’ll see some works in progress, raw materials, tools, and perhaps some inspiration mixed in with a little sawdust, Satterwhite notes.
ADVERTISEMENTS:
“We’re sure you’ll enjoy meeting the artists and discussing their work and vision in person,” she adds “By visiting and shopping at the Tour, you are not only buying hand-crafted works of art, but you are also supporting the local economy and helping artists to thrive.”
