Bainbridge Wineries presents WINE ON THE ROCK: Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons here on the “rock” – and a perfect time for a weekend of wine and charcuterie!
Bainbridge Island is home to many passionate and talented artisans of all mediums, and the art of wine-making is no exception. Wine-making began with grapes grown right here on the island and expanded to include world-class grapes from eastern Washington. Our vintners’ handcrafted wines are sure to provide a unique tasting experience that everyone will enjoy. The Winery Alliance of Bainbridge Island proudly represents the seven award-winning boutique wineries on the island, offering year-round events consisting of wine tasting tours as well as musical performances at selected wineries.
WINE ON THE ROCK is one such event and is held four times a year, and the next event is Saturday, November 9th and Sunday, November 10th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Join five of our seven wineries—Amelia Wynn Winery, Eagle Harbor Wine Co., Fletcher Bay Winery, Rolling Bay Winery & Eleven Winery.
Fall is harvest season and it’s a demanding time of year for our wineries; some grapes are still fermenting in their bins, while others are being pressed to go into the barrels—it’s the time of year when the winemaking happens—it’s also the perfect time of year to tour our wineries and meet the winemakers.
A total of twenty wines will be available and paired with charcuterie bites, chosen to specifically complement the wines you are tasting. In addition, you’ll receive an event wine glass and a 4-bottle wine tote.
Please Note: The Amelia Wynn winery will not be open for this event, instead, they will be participating via their Winslow Way tasting room (downtown). The other three downtown, Winslow Way tasting rooms, Eleven, Eagle Harbor and Fletcher Bay, will be open for tasting, but will not have Wine on the Rock event activities and charcuterie. Please visit the Eleven, Eagle Harbor and Fletcher Bay winery locations for the Wine on the Rock stop (Perennial Vintners and Bainbridge Vineyards will not be participating in this event).
Tickets are available here — must be 21 and older to purchase, but kids and dogs are welcome in the wineries!
Stay the weekend and let someone else do the driving!
