BIMA’s Summer Art Market returns this Today!

The Summer Art Market is taking over the plaza outside BIMA this summer. Explore vendor booths featuring handmade, locally-crafted treasures for sale, and enjoy the beautiful PNW summer rain or shine!

This in-person art market will take place every Sunday, July 10-July 31 between 11 am – 5pm. Each Sunday will feature different vendors and BIMA’s Bistro is open during the Summer Art Market.

Explore more than 20 booths featuring handmade, locally-crafted treasures on the plaza each Sunday in July. Make a day of it by enjoying lunch at the BIMA Bistro and taking in all the newly opened summer exhibitions.

Each week will feature a different selection of artists and makers working in a variety of mediums including painting, jewelry, fiber, fused glass, drawing, pastel, metal work, photography, wood arts, fragrances, and more.

Opened in 2013, Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) is located in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island in the heart of the Puget Sound. The museum’s mission is to inspire curiosity, wonder, and understanding by connecting people with the contemporary art and craft of the Puget Sound region. BIMA would like to expand on this mission by bringing artists and craftspeople, vendors, as well as live musicians to animate the beautiful outdoor plaza of their campus. If successful, they hope to make this an annual event.
