Chamber Music Today in Waterfront Park, Street Dance on Thursday Night, Where to Find Frog Rock Merchandise

The Seattle Chamber Music Society’s Concert Truck is making an appearance on Bainbridge Island at 12:30 p.m. today at Waterfront Park.

This unique concert-hall-on-wheels brings “the joy of chamber music right to the people—perfect for families, first-time listeners, and chamber music lovers looking for a fun, relaxed way to experience live music,” says SCMS’s Publicist Esteban Meneses. “Each performance is about an hour long, and people can bring a chair and a picnic to enjoy the music!”

Now You Can Take Frog Rock Home—No Crowbar Required

Good news, fellow Frog Rock fans: you don’t have to move to Bainbridge—or chisel him off his perch—to show your love. Frog Rock merchandise is officially hopping into Island Life Artisan Gifts https://island-life-artisan-gifts-main.square.site/, downtown Bainbridge’s go-to spot for all things local, playful, and uniquely “islandy.”

Even more special? The new line was created in collaboration with Frog Rock’s original creators, Bob and Ellen Green. Their iconic roadside amphibian has been turning heads and warming hearts since the ’70s, and thanks to a recent wave of buzz—including an upcoming Evening Magazine feature—the Greens are feeling a new spring in their step (and skip in their hop).

What’s more, Frog Rock will make his very first appearance in the beloved Grand Old Fourth of July parade on Friday, riding proudly on a float to celebrate his “marriage” to Island Life Artisan Gifts. It’s a match made in mossy heaven, and honestly? – Denise Houghton
