Come join us for the 19th Annual Bainbridge Island Summer Studio Tour – August 9th through 11th, 2019

“The heart of local art!”

The Bainbridge Island Studio Tour is a twice-yearly, self-guided tour of our vibrant artists’ community as well as regional artists from nearby communities. This year’s Summer Tour will take you to six unique local working artists’ studios here on Bainbridge Island, and will feature over forty artists and craftsmen. Numerous mediums will be on display and available for purchase, such as jewelry, Sgraffito pottery, watercolors, India ink, mixed media, metal art, garden art, wearables, oil paintings, photography, and much more.

Enjoy a day (or a weekend) on the island, exploring each studio, meeting the artists and learning about what inspires them – each artist offers eclectic and one-of-a-kind pieces that are perfect as gifts and décor for the home and garden. Studios are open from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

There are several new artists contributing this year, as well as many repeat artists from around the island and the region. Each artist (new and old) must pass a jury process to participate, ensuring the quality and craftsmanship is unsurpassed. The Studio Tour meanders through the island, beginning with Barbara Ferrier’s acrylic studio, then Danna Tartaglia’s home/studio, Danna Watson’s eclectic Dancing Spirit Studio, Sylvia Carlton’s oil painting studio, Barbara Weissman’s fiber garden/studio, and Mike and Donna Day’s pottery studio on Hidden Cove Road.
