The Bridge Festival 2023 logoArts & Humanities Bainbridge (AHB) is proud to present the Bridge Fall Arts Festival, September 30-October 6, 2023.

This is a free, week-long celebration of arts and culture in the walkable downtown Creative District and its surrounding area, the “Glow”.

BCD FAF -Square Logo 2023The Bridge Festival got its start last year, with a one-day event at Waterfront Park to celebrate the launch of the Bainbridge Creative District (BCD), located within the bustling downtown Winslow core as well as the “glow” which includes other creative areas throughout the island. Our district makes for both a perfect day trip for visitors and a year-round cultural destination for local residents. Visitors attending the Arts & Humanities Bainbridge Bridge Festival are invited to come for a day, or stay and play.

However, the district isn’t just about art, it’s about all the things Bainbridge encompasses, including horticulture, viticulture and everything you can think of where creativity is expressed.

This year’s Festival includes free, open house-style celebrations hosted by 30 creative organizations and businesses. Events will include visual art, music, jewelry, crafts and makers, design, culinary, dance, museums, galleries, wineries, and much more. About AHB:

AHB Logo 2023Since Arts & Humanities Bainbridge’s (AHB) inception more than 30 years ago, they’ve achieved enormous success in promoting the island’s artistic community. The ensuing decades saw the creation of the Public Art program and committee, the installation of the island’s first official public art and the Something New rotating public art program, Currents Online Magazine, designation as a Washington State Certified Creative District, Poetry Vibes, our first Poet Laureate, grant and fundraising workshops as well as many other programs geared towards the cultural enhancement, education, and growth of our community.

AHB is Bainbridge Island’s cultural hub, and bridges the arts and business communities by leading the BCD, and promoting Bainbridge’s vibrant arts and culture through their online media platform, bainbridgecurrents.org. The BCD and Currents highlight the island as a cultural destination, welcomes visitors, and deepens appreciation for our cultural offerings and heritage. The arts and humanities enhance our quality of life and create a vibrant, attractive place to live, work and visit.
