First Friday Art Walk – April 1, 2022 – Winslow Way and surrounding area, Downtown Bainbridge Island First Friday of every month, 6-8 PM
Spend an evening experiencing all that downtown Bainbridge has to offer. Many galleries, shops and businesses will be participating this month showcasing the art of our talented creative community. Afterwards, stop by one of our many restaurants for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, or dinner.
Enjoy an evening with a stroll through downtown visiting your favorite businesses and restaurants, shopping for gifts or items for yourself and your home. The walk begins on Winslow Way (near the ferry terminal) from 6pm to 8pm.
Amelia Wynn Winery Bistro You are invited to bid on this original oil painting in support of Ukrainian citizens impacted by the Russian invasion. 100% of the art sale will be donated to the World Central Kitchen, Founder José Andrés, Washington DC. Winning bid will be selected Friday, April 1st, 9:00 pm at the Amelia Wynn Winery Bistro. Attendance is not required. Local delivery available, shipping/tax additional. Text-in art bids are welcome. Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA)
The art of Chris and Jan Hopkins is on display at BIMA through June 12th, as part of the Executive Order 9066 at Eighty exhibit. BIMA is located at the corner of Hwy 305 and Winslow Way.
Jeffrey Moose Gallery is delighted to
announce an exhibition of work by multimedia artist Cory Bennett Anderson. Known for his celebrity portraits, Mr. Bennett Anderson changes gears for this exhibit and shows only images of women, in a nod to International Women’s Month, and some abstract works. Bergh Images Fine Art Photography No fooling! To celebrate the advent of spring, Bergh Images is having a month-long sale in April,
commencing at the upcoming Art Walk on April Fool’s Day. Patrons will receive a twenty percent (20%) discount on all prints at the gallery, which includes an excellent assortment of metal, fine art acrylic, and canvas prints; custom-framed black-and-white prints; and ready-for-framing matted prints. Wine, small bites, and live music (courtesy of their neighbor Furnish Bainbridge) will be provided too, along with the usual drawing for two complimentary 18×24 matted prints ($105 value). Owner/photographer Andy Bergh recently started writing “Island Images,” a monthly article for Currents, the amazing website of Arts & Humanities Bainbridge. With a different theme each month, Andy features images which are uniquely “Bainbridge Island-centric.” Check out his latest story at Bainbridge Currents and then come view the actual prints at the gallery. Pegasus Coffee is pleased to showcase Bruno B. Art Collectif features the artwork of Jill Feenstra. Jill is a prolific artist who is consistently in the studio making fine art for various features, exhibits and commissions, she lives in Ferndale, WA. Pegasus Coffee is located at 1331 Parfitt Way.
Kelly Johnston Art Gallery & Studio – Kelly has new limited edition signed and numbered giclée prints available as well as some new original paintings on panel. “Come take a look at what I’m working on in my studio at the moment.
