First Friday Art Walk – December 3, 2021
Winslow Way and surrounding area, Downtown Bainbridge Island
First Friday of every month, 6-8 PM
Spend an evening experiencing all that downtown Bainbridge has to offer. Many galleries, shops and businesses will be participating this month showcasing the art of our talented creative community. Afterwards, stop by one of our many restaurants for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, or dinner.
Enjoy a winter evening with a stroll through downtown visiting your favorite businesses and restaurants, shopping for gifts or items for yourself and your home. The walk begins on Winslow Way (near the ferry terminal) from 6pm to 8pm. *Please adhere to WA State Covid guidelines, as well as guidelines instituted by individual businesses.
Jeffrey Moose Gallery is pleased to welcome back artist Stephen Rock. Stephen has worked in many mediums, such as ink, paint, steel and wood sculpture, printmaking and even scrimshaw. His show, “The Gardener’s Journal V”, which is part of a popular series he began exhibiting at the Seattle Art Museum’s Rental/Sales Gallery, and will exhibit a new group of floral images made with pigmented inkjet on paper, hand colored with watercolor and collage, mounted to board. The gallery is located at 181 Winslow Way East, Suite F.
Bergh Images Fine Art Photography will be offering 10% off any (one) print and hold two drawings for a free 18×24 matted print of the winner’s choice ($135 value).
In addition, there will be live music on the terrace in front of the gallery as well as wine and small bites. Andrew (Andy) Bergh’s fine art images are available in different mediums, including fine art acrylic, metal, and canvas prints. The gallery is located at 400 Winslow Way E, Suite 115.
Bainbridge Arts & Crafts (BAC) will feature their newest
exhibit “Glow: Luminous Works”
by artists Karen Buhler, Jennifer Caldwell, Jason Chakravarty, Beccy Feather, Koko Jamison, Megan Stelljes, Benjamin Wright. Exhibit dates: December 3, 2021 – January 30, 2022. Recorded Art Talks with Ben and Koko will be available on their YouTube Channel Tuesday, December 7. BAC is located at 151 Winslow Way East.
Island Life Artisan Gifts – Owner and local artist Alex Sanso has been creating unique and vibrant Bainbridge Island gifts, art and souvenirs that celebrate the spirit of the island since 2013 and opened her shop in 2021, which features her work and the works of other local artists.
Join her for the First Friday Art Walk on December 3rd as the holidays get into full swing! Enjoy live music by Bainbridge Island guitarist/vocalist Mark Soltys. Wine, soft drinks, and Covid-safe snacks will be served. Come get festive with friends and neighbors while supporting local artists. Show your Bainbridge love with Bainbridge Island gifts for the holidays! The shop is located at 424 Winslow Way E.
Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty will be showcasing the work of landscape artist, Neil Andersson. Sotheby’s is located at 240 Winslow Way E.
