First Friday Art Walk – September 3, 2021

First Friday of every month, 6-8 PM

Although the First Friday Art Walk will be a bit different than it was pre-pandemic, you can still enjoy an evening experiencing all that downtown Bainbridge has to offer. Many galleries, shops and businesses will be participating this month showcasing the art of our talented creative community. Afterwards, stop by one of our many restaurants for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, or dinner.

Enjoy a summer evening with a stroll through downtown visiting your favorite businesses and restaurants, shopping for gifts or items for yourself and your home. The walk begins on Winslow Way (near the ferry terminal) from 6pm to 8pm. *Please adhere to WA State Covid guidelines, as well as guidelines instituted by individual businesses.

Hidden Gem will be showcasing the work of local Bainbridge Island artist, consultant and teacher, Pam Christiansen. Signed artist prints will be available for purchase. Hidden Gem is located in the Winslow Mall, 278 Winslow Way E, Ste. 105.

Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty will be showcasing the work of award-winning artist, Peggy Brunton. Peggy’s work has appeared in exhibits throughout the Pacific Northwest, the United States and Europe. In addition, her work has been chosen for the permanent collections at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Henry Gallery, and Seattle Art Museum. Sotheby’s is located at 240 Winslow Way E.  

Bainbridge Island Public Library will showcase multiple artists in their “Art is Happening” exhibit. Due to Covid concerns, the BIPL will not be hosting a reception this Friday, however the exhibit will be available for viewing in the meeting room throughout the month of September during regular business hours.

KiDiMu (Kids Discovery Museum) invites kids and kids at heart to come create and play. The museum if FREE to all visitors. Hours for First Friday Art Walk are 4pm to 7pm. The museum is located at 301 Ravine Lane.

Bergh Images Fine Art Photography will be showcasing photography of Bainbridge Island. The images will be displayed in different mediums, including fine art acrylic, metal, and canvas prints. In addition, there will be live music on the terrace in front of the gallery. The gallery is located at 400 Winslow Way E, Suite 115.

Fob Fridays – many local businesses downtown are participants in Fob Fridays (Bainbridge Island Senior/Community Center members receive 10% on Fridays with their BISCC fob).
