WORLD CUP 2022 – ENGLAND v. USA: TWO PLACES TO WATCH – FRIDAY NOVEMBER 25th, 11am kickoff! We have it from a very good source that the Island Brits will be descending upon Plate & Pint (Island Village Shopping Center on High School Road) for the “England vs US” match, while Sisters Cider House (just down the road on Hildebrand) will be hosting the “US vs England” match (and yeah, it’s the same game…). As Rob Avery, a British friend here on the island jokingly pondered, “Do I see soccer hooligans partying on Winslow over the win/loss…”
BAINBRIDGE BREWING will be offering $1 off pints of their Bainbridge American Lager and Nitro English Special Bitter for the game at the Brewery & Taproom on Winslow Way – come enjoy some delicious breakfast beer and a great match with your fellow supporters!
APPLE CUP 2022: WSU COUGARS VS UW HUSKIES – kickoff time is 7:30 p.m. on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26th – ESPN will carry the television broadcast, or check in with our local establishments to see who’s airing it on their big screens.
And of course, a ton of games on Sunday.

“FABULOUS FREE HOLLY” brought to you by Weed Warriors – The day after Thanksgiving, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25th, join Weed Warriors to cut a well-berried holly at upper Fort Ward Park, near the entry starting at 2pm and take your pick of holly home (for more information, contact Jeannette Franks jfranks1@comcast.net). BAINBRIDGE ISLAND/SUYEMATSU FARMS – Christmas Trees: Located at their Manzanita Road Christmas Tree Farm. Pre-Cut and U-Cut Christmas trees are available for sale the day after Thanksgiving until sold out. Sizes range from 3- to 12-feet. All Christmas trees are charged by the foot. They also offer fresh wreaths, garland, holiday arrangements, holly, and more. OPENING DAY: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 25th from 9am-5pm.
BAINBRIDGE ISLAND/SUYEMATSU FARMS – Santa’s Visits at the Manzanita Farm: Saturday, November 26th & Sunday, November 27th from 12pm-4 pm and Saturday, December 3rd & Sunday, December 4th from 12 pm-4pm

MANOR HOUSE 2022 GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY ~ Pleasant Beach Village – beginning SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26th. This year they will be holding 17 gingerbread house decorating parties, with houses provided by Sluys Bakery! There will be beverages and snacks available for purchase, and even sightings of Santa & Mrs. Claus, so be sure to bring your wish list. Tickets are limited, click here to get yours.
