If you are a Business with a Sandwich Board, Now is the time to get your Permits

The City’s permit application for sandwich board signs is now open! Sign up now to get priority space on private property before the enforcement goes into effect on April 9. You can access the permit form here.

For the initial implementation of the ordinance, if you submit your permit application between January 1, 2025, and April 9, 2025, the permit will expire on April 9, 2026.

If you submit a permit application after April 9, 2025, the expiration will be 365 days from the date on which the applicant receives a sign permit from the City.

You will need to submit a separate permit application for each sign. The permit fee for the first sign is $55, the second is $200, and the third is $500.

The City’s new sign ordinance will help keep Bainbridge Island’s sidewalks clutter free and more easily accessible for folks walking, biking, and rolling.
