It’s that time of the month to discover the vibrant heart of creativity at the First Friday Art Walk tonight – September 5 – in beautiful Downtown Winslow.  Immerse yourself in a captivating blend of art, food, and drinks as you meander through charming streets and indulge in a feast for the senses.

Browse a diverse array of galleries, showcasing the works of talented local artists, and be inspired by their masterpieces. Savor delectable culinary delights from our eclectic eateries, accompanied by refreshing drinks that perfectly complement the lively atmosphere. Explore unique shops offering handcrafted treasures and embrace the spirit of community that thrives in this artistic haven.

And at any number of shops, listen to local musicians and singers honing their crafts.

When: Every first Friday of the month from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: Downtown Bainbridge along Winslow Way

A Handful of Artists will be Exhibiting at the Library’s September Art Show 

It seems that at this time at this time of the year, we ask ourselves “where did summer go”… but you can pose another question with the Library’s September artist group presenting their version of “is it art yet?”

Artists Jamie Brouwer, Mandi May, Michael Pontieri,  Heather Polverino, Mary Rowland, Gareth Williams and Gerald Lonning will host an opening reception for First Friday, September 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the library meeting room.
The exhibit is available for viewing all month during regular library hours (unless a meeting happening). Per usual, a portion of sales are donated to the library. “As always, thank you for supporting local artists and your Bainbridge Public Library,” says Linda Meier, art coordinator.
